So Bijou Bazaar was featured on WW @ Astro AWANI recently, their invite to feature a designer from Bijou Bazaar produced three. (Sorry!) We managed to drag KLue Urbanscapes 2008 framed poster to announce that we'll be there as well.

Oh! ... and Dangsuria mentioned that she loved Yuna's YouTube clip, she thought Yuna was brilliant. w00t! w00t! (Are you reading Yuna?!)

Bijou Bazaar @ Strudels Cafe Lucky Garden Bangsar

Dear friends,

I've just had a meeting with 24 year old Fathin. She's the new brain behind the brand, Strudels. I love her drive, I love her passion and I'd love to bring Bijou Bazaar sunshine to where Strudels Cafe began - Lucky Garden Bangsar.

Let’s give her some Bijou love peeps!

We've agreed to offer the same fun, minus the pool, since no one jumped into the pool anyways while we're in Jeumpa D'ramo. An inflatable baby pool is possible though if you peeps want to sit by it to reminisce the fun we had at Jeumpa D'ramo.

But of course, we will not forget Jeumpa D'ramo, where it all began. We'll be revisiting the venue every now and then. :o)

Rashdan Harith's Competition Closed!

That was a quick one! He's got the first five correct answers in + will be announcing the results tonight on his music page.

First Competition Up!

Rashdan Harith is the first to run the competition y'all!

Now a bit about Rashdan Harith ...

Rashdan Harith started playing music for audiences since the age of 14, singing for a band and taking part in his school's Battle of the Bands. At the age of 17, he started toying with the dream of becoming a singer/songwriter with his personal artistic influences, which includes Dave Matthews, John Mayer and the likes. He, then, with the help of two friends under the moniker of T.R.A.K had recorded a DIY EP and sold about 500 copies with substantive downloads on the then active mp3.com website.

After a few months of lying low and after much persuasion, Rashdan Harith has finally decided to take his musical pursuits a step further and had gone into the studio to record his debut EP/Mini Album. He is fortunate to have found a few brave souls who trusts him and are willing to join him in his musical journey.

Now with a full band working in the studio as well as his bedroom, Rashdan Harith aims to entertain his listeners with his brand of acoustic pleasantness ...

You'll be able to catch Rashdan Harith perform his music in KLue Urbanscapes 2008 at THE LAKESIDE during Bijou Bazaar Acoustic Set, between 2 - 4 p.m.

(I love his song, 'My Favourite Soprano'. Gorgeous! He'll be releasing his EP on 08.08.08, peeps!)
